Almond Ricotta Cheese for the win! Get ready to change your life with this easy, and delicious recipe!!
Mmmmmmm…..This almond ricotta cheese is a quicker version of the almond cheese spread. Since this hasn’t been fermented, it doesn’t matter if it’s heated. The reason the heat matters so much is because anything over 120 degrees F starts to kill beneficial enzymes and bacteria raw food has naturally, which helps our own gut health.
But that’s why I created this recipe! So we can still have stuffed peppers, lasagna, manicotti and more! Hooray!
Time to make: 10 minutes
Time to soak: 2 hours
Step One:
1 cup slivered almonds, soaked 2 hours
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
